Bob Damerow's 19ft 6" Bruce Everingham has been sleeping in his Port Adelaide workshop for some time and after 3 years of work it is ready to go and will be making its first appearance for the season at Adelaide this Sunday.
David Clark & his faithful team have finally completed work on the new look blown alcohol displacement that now features a reinforced driver cockpit manufactured by Dean & Vince Borg of Proformance Bodyworks & Marine.
10 months of meticulous craftsmanship & mechanical engineering have accumulated countless hours of work for the team and the end result could not be better.
The Adelaide Speedboat Club must say an untimely farewell to one of it's youngest stars. Ben Sturm has sadly passed away after a battle with cancer.
Deepest condolences go out to Ben's family during this time of grief.

Celebrity 25hp race at ASBC entertains the crowd

With numbers down at the latest club day club patrons were enlightened by a celebrity race starring blown alcohol displacement drivers Trevor Stanley and David Clark along with 6 litre pedellers Terry Smith and Jeff Stunell. The guys weren't holding back and there were a number of racing incidents, er, before the race even started.
With only the final stages remaining of the fit out on Garry Wilson's top alcohol hydro 'Vicious Rumours', the boys took the boat down to Super Chevvy Sunday on the 6th of February and made some noise for the crowd.
